Embossing On Vellum!

I love this new format!!  I rarely have time to do everything!! So CAS Mixed Media this month challenged us to emboss on Vellum.

I took the chance to try out my new Tim Holtz Alcohol ink collection! I used the following colors:  Mojito, Moss, Everglades and Cobalt.  When it was dry,  I cut a 1 1/2 in strip and placed it between 2 pieces of Neenah Solar white card stock and stamped (with versa mark) with my new SSS stamp set Be Kind and then embossed with silver powder.   I mounted the white side panels on with foam tape to be raised over the velum.  Stamped and embossed with a Penny Black sentiment "dream".

The first one didn't work out but I was able to recycle it into the butterflies!!  Vellum butterflies are actually really cool!!

Thank you for visiting.  Comments are always appreciated!  :)
