CAS March Stencil Challenge - Ghosting

This challenge: CAS March Stencil Challenge - Ghosting, was more challenging that I thought.  Trying to get the right amount of water..using the right stencil...etc, but in any case, it seems like whatever you do, when it dries it looks pretty cool.    I used Distress Inks on Mixed media paper.
I did one in cool blues, and one in pinky coral oranges.  As wet and gloomy it is here I was drawn to the bright corals and crisp white images, and glittery gold sentiments!

I tried using a new stencil. It is a two piece layering stencil from Altenew:
I sprayed a mist of water over the more open one on the right, with the intentions of highlighting with the one on the left.  I thought the 3 layers of intensity would be cool but it did not turn out as expected.  It was super cool anyway as a background.

You can see the the top of this one where I started to highlight.  Spring sentiment is from an old Technique Tuesday set.  Woodgrain paper is from Ellen Hutson.

Flowers are Alexandra RENKE.  Love them!!  And sentiments are stamped using Rangers Tinsel.  It is super sparkly!!

Thanks for looking!  and commenting ;-)
