CAS Mix Up April Challenge

Who knew that playing with rubber bands would be so fun.
Once again, thank you to all of you at

I added rubber bands to a brayer and then inked with versa mark and embossed with the new ranger gold tinsel from the "Letter It" line.  Added Distress Ink and it reminded me of sun light filtering through the water. I had this goldfish die so I painted up some paper with infusions and ranger's perfect pearls.

Thanks so much for looking!

  1. I love the thick ribbon-like lines your rubber bands made, Jules! They do look like the sun reflecting in the water! Beautiful goldfish too! Thanks for sharing with us at CAS Mix Up!

  2. Gosh, your 'water' colors really look so realistic - I was a Floridian for many years, and know exactly the look of the sun filtering through the water. I used thicker bands too, and it's great to create a water texture. I love the colors of your Koi using the infusions....Very very pretty. TFS
