Compendium of Curiosities Challenge #7: Painted Industrial

I am not sure why the big white lines are appearing in some of my text.

Linda has another Compendium of Curiosities Challenge (a.ka."CC3C) for us…Painted Industrial.  You can find directions for this is Tim's new book, Compendium of Curiosities III.  Playing with these foil sheet is extremely addicting.  Be sure to have LOTS on hand.  I will have another link at the bottom of this for another project I did.  But for this challenge, it was slow going but then the card took off!  Slightly inspired by the black poppies in bloom just outside my window.  I tried to photo the card with the poppies!  The "florist" stamp is an old on of Tim Holtz and have been waiting forever to use it.
I tried to do the "eroded metal" effect for the background.  Need lots more practice on that one!!  The poppy in the foreground was cut out of metal sheets using Penny Black's new die.    And then embossed in an embossing folder. The tag was embossed with a Sizzix's Brenda Walton's English Botanical & Houndstooth ensemble.

Thank you thank you Inspiration Emporium for the great chance to win $50 at your online store!!
Here is the other post I did with embossing metal…no industrial look though.
